With so many different GPS tracking providers on the market today, it can be confusing to decide which company you should choose to provide you with the best solution. In this article, I’ll be reviewing Frotcom’s GPS tracking platform to hopefully give readers a better understanding of the company’s services, features and reliability. Frotcom has been in business since 1997 and provides GPS fleet tracking systems which are distributed in over 30 countries at this time. Frotcom’s core focus is on fleets of every size, and providing them with a host of tracking options for multiple situations. Frotcom is also heavily vested in research and development to stay on top of the ever changing trends in the global telematics industry.

At it’s core, Frotcom gives users a way to track and manage their fleet of vehicles, no matter where they are located. There are also a host of other optional features available such as access control, route management, advanced reporting and other helpful features for managing a fleet of any size. There is also support for sensor monitoring which seems to be fairly standard when looking at similar companies. One thing which does stand out with Frotcom however, is the support for advanced monitoring of cargo doors on trailers. Frotcom offers wired and wireless sensors compatible with their hardware which can detect opening and closing of cargo doors. This is extremely helpful when combating cargo theft and can generate alerts if the doors are opened or closed at specified locations or during odd hours.
